The pop noise is kind of catchy and not great, but Alexis Krauss’ vocals hit such very high highs, calling Ivan Shapovalov to mind. Before I know it I’m imagining their stage presence and fixating on her memorial tattoo until I slip away into that insidiously happy space where hulking goths dance.
